Welcome to Academy of Champions East!
The Academy Dance Program, founded more than 40 years ago, offers professional instruction for all levels, beginner through advanced, ages two through adult. We instruct and perform a wide variety of styles including hip hop, jazz, ballet, pointe, tap, ballroom, salsa, pom, and lyrical. Each spring, all Academy dancers are showcased in the Academy's end of year recital production.
ACE dance teams (formerly known as Starettes and Barnard Company Dance) have been a National Champion competitive allstar dance program for dancers ages five through 18 for over 20 years. These dancers have showcased their talent in professional stage shows throughout the world.

Academy Dance: Classes
All dance students perform in The Academy Recital Production each Spring!

Pre-Dance (Ages 5 and under)
In our pre-dance program The Academy offers hands-on instruction in a fun, creative environment to invite and inspire movement, stretching, and flexibility training, as well as exposure to stage and performance experience.
As soon as your girls are potty-trained we'd love for them to join us!
Class time: 1 hour (30 minutes of Ballet, followed by 30 minutes of Tap)

Dance Combination Classes (Ages 5-12)
For dancers ages 5 through 12, The Academy offers combination classes with 30 minutes each of ballet, tap, and jazz. Students may take any combination of 1,2, or all 3 classes
Class Time: 1 hour, 30 minutes (30 mins Ballet, 30 mins Tap, 30 mins Jazz)

For students 13 years of age and older, The Academy offers various levels of instruction
in Tap, Ballet, Pointe, Hip Hop, and Jazz.
Class Time: 1 hour (Hip Hop, Jazz, and Ballet Classes), 45 minutes (Tap and Pointe Classes)
