Addyson La'Valle Landers arrived at 12:54am today, August 6th. 

She weighs 7 lbs, 3 oz and is 20" long.  Both mom and baby are doing well!

Congratulations Rischard and Amy!! We love you!!!

Jillian Cooper

Jillian Cooper was raised in Mt. Pleasant.  She studied dance for 15 years at The Academy under the instruction of Ms. Kim Barnard.  Jillian was a member of the National Champion dance team Barnard Company Dance as well as the Mt. Pleasant Tiger Dolls, which she served as 1st Lieutenant during her senior year.  She then attended the University of Texas as Austin where she earned a degree in education and was a member of the Zeta Tau Alpha sorority.  After graduation, she moved to Dallas where she worked for a hotel development company.  While in Dallas, Jillian was a dance instructor at Studio B and Janie Christy Dance Studdio.  She is currently a kingergarten teacher at E.C. Brice Elementary.

Conoly Witherspoon

Conoly Witherspoon is a 2009 graduate from the University of Mississippi. (Ole Miss)  She received her degree in Elementary Education.  While in college, Conoly danced on the Rebelette dance team, and their nationally ranked competitive squad.  While finishing her degree, she taught dance in a private studio and coached their competitive teams.  Conoly has studied dance for 18 years.  The Academy is where Conoly first began her training.  She has studied ballet, tap, jazz, hip-hop, and was a member of the Starettes and BCD teams.  While attending Mt. Pleasant, she was a member and captain of the Tiger Doll drill team.  At present, Conoly is now Director of the Tiger Dolls.

Tiny team:  Ages 4 and 5

Training team:  Ages 6 & up

              Not quite ready for the world of competitive cheer?  Our training team is the perfect way to start!  This exhibition team will only attend 3 competitions, requiring less travel.  Again, no evaluation is required!

There will be NO TUMBLING classes the week of May 3rd - 7th!

ACE 32° and Freeze will be competing at the All-Levels Championship in Dallas on Saturday, April 17th.

All BCD dance teams will be competing at the All-Levels Championship on Sunday, April 18th.
